anybody here ever try those top water popx,s from japan? my son bought two and has been slaying the bass early mornings. only downside, they run about twenty a peice[B)]

  I use Chug Bugs on the corners of the big docks and they work great especially in the fall.I also use the better baits but they seem to work the same maybe just a little better. The main thing is lure placement you have to be an accurate caster 12 inches makes a huge diffrence. The biggest thing with the Jap plugs is they have good hooks out of the box. Several years back I was in Canada catching for Smallmouths and learned real quick that Muskys love those expensive baits too so much as they take them with them. You know after about 5 or 6 of them getting taken away from you you think a person would learn.
