Chain Saw Tune Up

Somebody suggested this stuff several weeks ago. I bought a can.
I have a great Stihl 039 that I have had for 33 years. It runs pretty good. I did have some trepidation about using this stuff, and I like the axiom "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
But there is a new pro model Stihl that I would love to get my hands on, I figured if this stuff blew up my old Stihl I would just go buy the new one to replace it.
I used this stuff yesterday, I can feel an increase in rpm, maybe 500 rpm higher. Also the saw is easier to start.
This is a tune up in a can and it works great, very easy to use.

I have a big Stihl that's probably 40 years old and hasn't been run for 20 years. My dad bought it and maybe used it twice and now it sits in my shed. It looks like new but I am sure it would need some work to get it going. I don't use it so I haven't seen the need to fix it just to let it sit. 0 -

Thanks for the tip. If I haven't used one of my saws in a while I add a little SeaFoam to the first tank and that seems to work also. Bob 0 -

DO NOT leave Seafoam or any other magic mystery oil for any length of time in any carburetor that has a float and bowl. Trust me. 0 -
??? I have been using it in the generator gas for ten years with 6 - 8 months between uses without any problems. Am I flirting with disaster? What harm can it cause? With the B 12 Chemtool, you just run the saw on fast idle and spray a few squirts into the carburetor. Gotta take off the air filter of course. I sprayed in about a dozen squirts. Several times I squirted too much and it made the saw conk out. 0 -
I use it in every small engine I own, mixed according to directions in the gas. Never had a problem with Seafoam yet, in the boat from year to year, woodsplitter, weed wackers , ice auger, and they never ran better. 0 -

I had a half bottle of Berrymans and a half bottle of Marvel Mystery oil in my shop.I poured the Berrymans in the bottle with the Marvel and in a couple of days the Berrymans had the plastic bottle softened until it was about to come apart. 0 -
I wonder if this would clear the idle problem I have with my #$%*&U$#%^@# Land Rover!
