What's going on in Oregon?
Just heard on talk radio 5 counties want to secede and join Idaho because of the political climate.
Hope for the best if true and I support their efforts.
Highly populated Portland area is a DEMOCRAT cesspool.

I have heard the stories about forming another state, but joining another is a first here
There are a number of states with population centers greater than the rest of state such as IL with Chicago controlling the entire state. Rest of the state is not represented.
People in DC bitch because they are not represented electorally and DEMOCRATs proposing statehood, why not.

An effort to move nearly two dozen of Oregon’s most rural counties into the more conservative neighboring state of Idaho has gained momentum – with five counties voting this week in favor of having local officials consider the issue, according to reports.Been in the making for some time now. I've always been a proponent of Eastern Oregon becoming the 51st state. There are 6 of Oregon's 36 counties that pretty much control the entire state and we've had quite enough of their liberal horse puckey, thank you very much. My wife are in the process of escaping to Montana because we just can't tolerate the political climate in Oregon any longer.

The courts will reject the vote to reform the state lines and will call it racial discrimination and gerrymandering,You cannot win with the present system in place. They will enforce integration by any means. Race,creed, gender preference or religion discrimination laws will be enforced on a Federal level.

IMHO, there is no logical reason for many states to continue to exist with their historical boundaries. Far too many states are totally ruled by a small number of urban areas that ignore the wishes, rights, input, and votes of the remainder of the state. Large urban centers need to be combined into a few new left-wing states and let the rest of us go back to being America again.

Congress will have to approve the redrawing of State Lines. Once that is done, there is no legal reason for the courts to stop it. Logically the people in Western Oregon would be fine with the people in Eastern Oregon joining Idaho, or combining with the folks in Eastern Washington to form a new state. Logic, however, does not fit in with the power that would be lost were these people to leave.

same with a lot of the states i have heard north section of NY state is a good place and people along with being a nice looking areas I would bet they would love to have nyc fenced in and no longer counted in any political events
come to think of it I would bet most of the states would love to cut ties with there big city democrat's and government funded sheeple / leaches
I guess were just going to have to a internal struggle similar to one little disagreement back in the early 1860's and redraw boundary's or better yet just provide a area for the sheeple to live with the leaders and not feed off every one else taxes proving there wish list and pocket lining . some place like Africa , China , Russia maybe Mexico( since they love it so much) a place where they can get a fresh start at saving the world and protest there hearts out and of course the locals have swift justice for such nonsense
