At a dollar a round I am rich!

I knew bullets were a better investment than gold or silver.

Hmmm, it would seem my personal worth has apparently increased considerably as well!

Yeah Sam, I started doing some math also. Ka-Ching.

Chris it appears my net worth has increased significantly as well.

Apparently I have a couple grand in 9mm alone.

Dang I have to start being more careful. About 2-1/2 years ago I gave away 450 rounds of Israeli sub gun ammo because the primers were too hard for my pistol. On the bright side though, at today's prices I have about $25K in ammo setting around here.

    $650+ for a .50cal can of 5.56. $500 for 500 rounds of 9mm. That is Crazy.

Really glad I have most everything I need. Those who have waited until now, are in a world of hurt.

Low on a few calibers. .44Mag/Special, .270, a couple of others. (The .270 has been a safe queen.) The mainstays are in good shape, and have been for years.

Been concentrating on adding to the food storage last few months.

Yep... those 89-99 specials for 500 rd were quite normal.  I recall buying some for 69 per 500

I have some 10mm coming that is around 40 50 a round. Now all I need is a pistol to shoot it in

Words of wisdom, no charge.  Reload, cast your own bullets and buy powder and primers in bulk.  No worries about any "shortages".

Ammo prices are all over the place. I sold 2000 rds of 9 mm Blazer Brass for $650 about 2 weeks ago. That was cheap but I only had around $450 in it so I was happy.  Plus I have several rounds left.
This was at a local gun show.

There seems to be a few newer members offering up free ship and no CC fee. I'm shocked that a lot of the over bidders have NR next to their name. lol, not. I've seen so many sketchy seeming auctions, I have no clue if I should bid on them. I actully did bid on several, but got outbid.  Of course, if I was to sell something on here, I only have a few ratings, so maybe folks would act with caution, or perhaps I too can bring 1$ + per 9mm cartridge. I dunno, crazy times we're living in. Shoot straight and stay safe folks.

ps, I miss my range days, but it's a rich man's hobby now :(

Received an email from Global Ordnance back on 9/4/2020 with a deal on Tula Steel Case 9mm and 223. Limit 1 case of each.
    I grabbed 1 of each - 9mm @ $220 for 1k and 223 @ $283 for 1k.

Don't care much for steel case pistol ammo but figured I was unlikely to see that price again for awhile.

This isn't 9mm......................but if any of you guys have Academy stores nearby, I got a 520 rd spam can of Monarch yesterday for $149

Nice buy on that Tul 9. SG is getting 50 cents a round and there's a 5 box limit. I like Wolf Polyformance or Military Classic (they're the same ammo in different packaging) as it tends to cycle better for me. I have no issues with shooting steel cased ammo. In fact, I sure wish I had purchased more of it before the "current situation" started. Range time for me is limited, cuz I can't afford today's ammo prices. No Academy within 275 miles of my place. :(
