Update on my wife - UPDATE TO THE UPDATE
The results of the biopsy were positive for cancer, which we expected. Yesterday we met with the surgeon to go over different procedures, outcomes, and the results of the biopsy. The good news is that her cancer is not aggressive, is slow-growing, and was caught early. They don't think the tumor has involved any lymph nodes, but will probe the channels up to her armpit looking for any issues.
Janet is now scheduled for a lumpectomy Thursday morning. As bad as this could have turned out, I think of this as good news.
After the surgery, she will need many radiation treatments, and about 5 years of chemo pills.
Hopefully, she can have a normal summer next year.

I got Janet home a while ago. The surgery went very well. They took out 2 lymph nodes and both were negative. They think they got all the cancer, but they won't know until they test the surrounding tissue.
She's resting comfortably right now, but is in some pain and kind of woozy. I'm glad that is behind us and hope the tests come back negative.
Thanks again for all of your well wishes.
Take care, Joe

I just got done changing Janet's wound dressing. I think they used Gorilla Tape on her. That was the stickiest tape I've ever tried to remove. I got it done, but I really felt sorry for her while doing it. She did a lot of grimacing but didn't cry out. She's my brave little soldier.
