saw something odd at zoo.......
took grandkids to columbus zoo other day, on the way out was a van waiting to pick up folks right next to the entrance/exit. I got car and pulled over next to them to wait on wife and grandkids. Out came about 6-8 amish/mennonites and went to get in the van, the women had poster size papers with them I figured it was a poster from zoo for souvenier, one blew out of ladies hand and came my way, I opened the door and grabbed it and walked over her way, it was one of the cartoon chariterachers? they draw at the little booths in the zoo. she had half a dozen or so in her hand and thanked me for grabbing the one that blew away. just seemed pretty odd to me, wouldn't think they would spend money on those...........

The Amish won't have photographs taken of them if they are recognizable. They don't mind having their picture taken from a distance as long as their faces aren't in the picture. Mennonites are a little more liberal about a lot of things than the Amish. 0
