I also got robocalls with the same message.  Caller ID showed one was from Washington, DC, the other was from Martinsburg, WV.
In the District, rioters & looters are now being kept overnight, then released the next morning.  No charges filed, even for grand theft & destruction of property.

We all got an e-mail or calls or both. I got both but let the robocalls go to voicemail first.
It's just another way to tell us that we're responsible for the firearms in our possession. We already are responsible for all of them anyway but this backs them up.
We aren't seeing unrest anyway and probably won't. Not enough of them to start agitating.
    Best.

I guess that explains why the gun display case in the local Wal-Mart was empty today. I did buy a qt. of acetone. I'm should be surprised that wasn't pulled too. Heck, we're out in the boonies. Civil unrest around here is the first of the month.

I also note that local Wally World gun cases were empty today . This is in a relatively small town near me . Unlikely much looting would break out there due to the small population.

Yesterday there were rumors of buses loaded with protesters headed to this area.  Walmart and Hyvee stores barricaded entrances and in some cases closed.  Nothing happened, and statements from Sheriff/Police Chief could not confirm where these rumors started, but think that it came from corporate headquarters encouraging the stores to be prepared.  Walmart does not sell guns locally, and last time I was in the sporting goods section the ammo counter was closed.

Rioters come to my place, they won't be arrested.  Hospital or morgue only.  I'm very scared of groups of people with sticks and stuff.

Speaking of Walmart, the local one here (central WA State) hasn't sold guns for at least a decade, and recently purged all pistol ammo.  The only ammo on the shelves is shotgun shells and a selection of hunting-rifle calibers, NOT including .223 or 7.62x39.  Considering moving out of this State at some as-yet-unknown future time.

The idea of "peaceful protesters" coming out of the cities is real. They've hit the far towns that are more bedroom communities than suburbs. The came out of Chicago to LaSalle County. Rumor was 2 buses. Wall art shut down and put the CHEP pallets in from of the door. Great fire Hazzard.

Wasn't enough people to cause a problem and the police escorted them.
