Hello...On a Smith & Wesson N-frame revolver, does the barrel screw into the frame in a clockwise or counter clockwise direction, when looking from the muzzle end. Thanks...BT

  This may be a dumb question, but are all N frame barrels screwed in? For some reason, I thought they went to crush fitting barrels at one point for economic reasons.

  Crush-fitting means the barrels are screwed in very tightly, not pressed in.

  IIRC They started crush fitting barrels when the pinned barrel was deleted...
