CMP 1911 sold on GB
I believe this is the first of the 1911s recently sold by CMP to be resold on GB.
CMP has a 1911 forum and so far they have only sold "service grade" guns, $1,050 each. Many have posted pictures on that forum of some really nice guns they've received. This is not one of those really nice guns. Seller added 2 new in the wrap GI mags and did pretty well on it I think.

It appears they have shipped less than 1000 of the 8000 1911s received from the Army in 2018. They are still processing the 19,000 or so packets they received by the deadline. No more packets will be accepted until these 19,000 orders are filled.
I should have my CMP 1911 in a few weeks, looking forward to it.

the jan 8 update on their website states that they havent assigned all the numbers to the packets yet, at least they havent notified me one way or the other yet. 0 -
