I too am in Michigan and I appreciate cool weather a lot more than hot!  Cold you can dress for, hot, even going near nude is not enough for comfort.

I keep reading about Summer predictions for a very hot one coming so if it happens my shade trees will be seeing a lot of me.  :)

In the Yoop high of 70 low of 50 is normal. I still have snow patches in the woods.

If you Michiganders are familiar with the Sleeping Bear Dunes.  In the middle of Summer you can dig down a few feet and will hit ice!     Bob, we folk living below da Bridge are Trolls to dem pure yooper's up der!    Takes about tree generations to be welcomed into der family!  Ayh!

I love da yoo pee but our friends up in Houghton on the Keweenaw peninsula had 215" of snow by the end of January! That's a bit to much for me. No wonder they can find snow under the pines late in the summer. I like the bear, moose, deer, wolves, lack of people, pasties, fudge and most everything up there, but 18 - 20 feet of snow every year kind of tempered my desire to move there.😊 Bob

Sister In-Law lives in Traverse City, MI. Posted a pic of the snow they got on May 10th - Mother's Day.

Yep. Heat on Mon. /Tues night. Got down to 28°. Then windows open last several nights. AC on today. Once it cools off, windows open again tonight.

Got rid of the fleece sheet set, and one fleece blanket today. Went back to summer set up. Got too hot last couple nights.
