    I'll be running the snow blower today. Two inches already and forecast to snow throughout the day. Maybe a foot total.

    got a rain few days ago 1.10" most we have had forever with 2 light sprinkles of snow....will help the planted wheat greatly....another slight chance tomorrow ...been a really dry fall and winter so far.....temps been a roller coaster with warm and cold records....

    Meeting up with seven friends to golf at a course about 150 miles southwest of home.

    Have never golfed in Washington State on 1 January.

    Mid to high 50's and sunny. Going to have to bring sunscreen.

    Tomorrow is my first day in semi-retirement. Looking forward to this new decade ;)

    Well, the year started out right! Neighbor and I were both out blowing snow and making our last passes when the city plow went by for the final time, throwing the usual mound up at the end of our driveways. Usually, that plow goes by two minutes after I've put the blower away, come inside, and changed clothes. Win, win!

    Luck will really be smiling on us if that happens the next few times we're out there today. And tomorrow.

    Had about 18" on Saturday/Sunday and Monday AM and all cleared by Monday evening...sidewalk and two driveways. :D
