Daughter's creepy underwear predicament.....yes, a tale to entertain you.
So, I went out with my daughter this afternoon and asked her how things went with her visit this Christmas with her husband's family.
She tells me that her husband's mother asked what she should get for Coral. Coral's husband tells his mom she wants VICTORIA'S SECRET UNDERWEAR!!!
This is not at all what Coral has told her husband.....but she went into extreme detail to tell him that there is a difference between the two stores.....she wanted something from "Pink" which is where you get functional undies, sweats, nothing risque or such. The other store, Victoria's Secret, is where the other stuff is.....and being the mom of a toddler she just wants undies, nothing exciting.
So, here Christmas comes and the mother in law has been told to buy Victoria's Secret......Coral is frustrated and a bit annoyed by being put in this situation. She didn't know what might happen....but was NOT looking forward to whatever was coming.
The day came and her mother in law got her a JC Penny gift certificate. I was tickled by all of it myself.

So after Victoria's Secret was mentioned the husband stopped listening and started to imagine things. Also having Victoria's Secret undies purchased by his mom for his wife is a psychoanalyst's dream. Now it'll be funny as Hell if your daughter took away all his undies and replaced them with those banana hammocks and thongs.
You asked whatever was coming? Another grand child if she got those Victoria's Secret undies.0 -
You just gotta know that with a thread title like that -
You are going to get a kabillion hits -
But not near as many comments.

they make them for women also , i know my wife really likes hers0 -
I thought they did, but I usually skip the women's pages in their catalogs.
(Unlike days of old when little boys ogled the bra and girdle section of the Sears catalog long before Playboy.)0 -
I understand your point but my wife kept giving me _____ for spending that much per pair, I told her if she ever tried a pair herself she would understand why they where worth the money , finally i just order her several pairs to try and now they're about the only brand she wears 0 -

They recently opened a Duluth store on the other side of town and we took a trip out there to see what they had. Its all quality items, but the prices will make you dizzy if you stay in there too long. 0 -
True enough, people stare at the $26 price tag on one pair of boxers. But I've been wearing mine for two years now (yes, smartie, I do change them) and they're exactly as good as the day they came out of the package, even the elastics. I bought three pair to try them, and after a week, ordered three more. Buck Naked style in boxer form. I also have two pairs of their ArmaChillo ones for hot weather. CanNOT wear these things out. 0 -

The events seem that way, but really what happened.....Coral said if anyone asked what to get her he should tell them a gift card to the PINK store (so she could get sweat pants and some spray she likes from there).....and that is where she should have stopped, but she went on to explain how it was a tangent store to Victoria?s Secret. This was all he heard from all she said.....gift card, Victoria?s Secret.
You can?t tell guys a lot all at once....she is learning.0 -
