loaded up few shells today.....
am going to go to range tomorrow and give em a try. local shop has pretty much quit carrying reloading bullets I was wanting some 170 grain spire tips. got to looking and have some 220 grains in my stockpile so I loaded up 10 of them. I don't shoot more than one or two times a year anymore so if I can get these on paper with a good group I will load up the rest of the brass, maybe 35 rounds and be good to go for the rest of my hunting days anyway. 8mm are getting hard to find locally.....

hang onto it, you may get the itch in year or so, if not it will make good trading stock.......select-fire said:I went the other way.. Sold my 1911 today and still have about 10 boxes of 45acp ball ammo and some defensive rds left over.

Most likely will end up trading it for my stockpile.0 -
A S&W model 25/625 with moon clips is a great way to use up some left over 45acp... 0
