Axe Throwing and beer drinking
My wife and I met my Daughter and her boyfriend at our usual watering hole for a cocktail when the kids mentioned axe throwing my wife's ears perked up and we agreed to go with them.
A local micro brewery has a axe throwing place, it took me about twenty tries to finally get the axe to stick but than I found out I'm a natural! We played two rounds of ten and I scored on all the throws, got into a groove. Mostly fours but a few 6's.
My daughter was pretty good two handed tosser.
The guy who starts you off shows you how, I tried two handed at first it felt odd and I never stuck the axe, I finally got mad and threw it one handed and stuck it, the rest of the night I only had one throw that didn't stick.
Nothing like tossing a axe and drinking beer
My daughters boyfriend tried to show me how he tosses it underhanded but I was better off with one hand over hand, I'll have to practice that underhanded toss.
Wifey was trying the two handed toss too but seemed better with one.

Why I didn't I think of that!!!
How far away is this place and what time should we be there?
Does it take about three beers to feel Nordic and get in the groove?
Do chicks dig it? That's all I really need to know.0 -
They are almost ready to open a "Stumpy's Hatchet House" in my area. Cost will be $24.99 for 1 hour (1-4 people).
Great idea. Sharpened steel & alcohol; what could possibly go wrong?

I once threw a pair of chinee vise grips....
One handed....
They didn't stick....
Then I drank some beers....
Maybe I should open a bar....

I tried it at a Renaissance fair, once. Not as easy as it looks. 0 -
Beer drinking and axe throwing. Yeah.
That ain't Nordic. If there was EVER a definition of Redneck, that covers it, right there. :P0 -
With a heading like that I was expecting "here, hold my beer" and tears would followed but WTF? Also that brewery must be owned by Johnny Cochran. 0 -
Beer plus throwing axes ...... what could possibly go wrong? There is one of those places here in town called ? whoop axe?! No idea as to cost etc . 0 -

What were we talking about? :?:0 -
6 words that should make you duck and cover: "Hold my beer and watch this!" 0 -
25.00 an hour and I would guess an armed society is a polite society
We were pretty focused on our own thing, lots of lanes and all were full but no real distraction.0 -
Look up Chucktown Axe throwing or something like that apparently chicks dig it, they even have a ladies night.
LOL
