I tell you guys all of the time how hard it is to just let things go.....well, this week its this one that is making me think I need to clear out a spot in the safe for it. (I can't even PRETEND to do this right now with all the mess I've got going on, but its nice to dream about it.)

    Why are the sights so tall on it?

    Ready to mount a scope on to it? High mounts with a see through base? :?:

    You may scoff at it, but years ago when guiding, I had an elk hunter from Pennsylvania and he brought what he hunted with, which was exactly what Kasey has listed.
    He took some guff from all the bolt rifle guys in camp, but he did the one shot deed on a respectable 6 pt Bull at 150 or so yards and that quieted down all the jokes about the pump gun.

    Funny, I?ve also had hunters with Browning BAR?s and they never got much guff, but the 760 pump sure enough did.

    It was a Crescent hammer 12 sxs much like this one that brought me to the forums many moons ago.

    I'm sure your description is correct but I can't see any of the markings in the photos?

    Can you tell if it's damascus barrels?

    It is heavily worn and I couldn't see any markings where they are normally found. It doesn't have the damascus pattern on the barrels, but they are thin.


    I've added a few more to the list that will go up Thursday, so we will have 55 going up Thursday. Today was my last "work" day until next Monday.

    I don't think I've had this many days off in a row in several years. I may not know what to do with myself.

    It has higher sights because it is threaded for a Silencer. Most pistol Silencers are round and larger than in diameter so that regular sights are not able to "clear" the silencer unless you get an offset Silencer like the Silencerco Osprey.

    Almost all pistols that come from the factory with a threaded barrel have highrise sights.
