You Knew thus was coming and the tide is shifting to banning assault rifles in mass after 2020 elections that may give them the power to enact the Federal law.
President Trump's election/impeachment is just a side show and the majority vote was with the Democrats and Trump only won with the electoral college votes,I doubt it will ever happen again. The Democrats smell political blood and know the gun lobby is wounded. But the question is how are they going to do it without violence and starting a civil war?

In a survey of likely 2020 voters, conducted earlier in the summer by the polling group GQR, more than one in four said that their views on guns had changed during the past five years, and, of those, seventy-eight per cent said that they had shifted toward stronger laws curbing guns. Asked if they would support a voluntary-buyback program of the kind that Australia instituted in 1996, encouraging people to give up their assault-style weapons, forty-two per cent of the likely voters said that they ?definitely? would, and twenty-nine per cent said they ?probably? would. Other polls have shown overwhelming support for universal background checks and gun-owner licensing.
Like most rights, the right secured by the Second Amendment is not unlimited,? Scalia wrote. It is not ?a right to keep and carry any weapon whatsoever in any manner whatsoever and for whatever purpose.?

Interesting to see this post. I'd just added video to another forum by a Youtuber that gives his opinion on what will happen and it's not a bad opinion.
Then again the Republicans have lost control of the Printed Media / Hollywood / Main Stream Media/ Academia and over 50% of the internet so maybe they'll just whine a little louder. Google / Facebook / YouTube being the majors on the internet.

The oligarchy is waiting for 5G and thousands of satellites to be launch and put into place for total awareness technology to be very effective for total control. Food will be the biggest obstacle to control for them however. If they can control corporation farming and defend it then any resistance could fail just by waiting them out. People everywhere are going to be hurting regardless here in The USA. Medicare and Social security will be cut off and you will have to go to a FEMA encampment to seek relief in disputed areas.
