Do I get to take back stock market tips and sports scores? Can I buy a bunch of Pythons at cheap prices? If not I'll stay here. It's kinda fun watching the advancement in things like tech and medicine. Besides if you go forward the worlds gonna end in 12 years anyway :D Bob

I would go back to the Union Army recruiting station in 1860 with a truck load of newspapers from January 20, 2009, which was inauguration day for Obama and pass them out just to see how many men they could recruit having this knowledge.

If I could go back there's a couple of things I'd like to change, but what I'd love to do is get some "history" books from a few years from now and see what they think of the last election

I would go back. To when my Grandparents were alive.
Maybe buy some Apple and Walmart Stock in the 80s and 90s.
Probably pick up some guns along the way too..
    ....

I,d go back to 1969 and my senior year in high school. Seven months later I was at Fort Dix N.J. and spend the next 25-30 years in the military instead of doing what I did.

IDK, I'm pretty happy with where I am in life now ... but lots of things I'm not happy with.

Probably back, but not sure ... 1700's make sure Jefferson, was perfectly clear when writing the 2nd Amendment ... Adams, Washington, Franklin and crew had more info on "what the future brings" so they would hopefully provide a foundation so that the lawyers 245 years later would have more difficulty twisting.

back to the 1800's, life was pretty hard, no music I care for, poor medical ... but, being the beginning of the Industrial Age would be cool.

Enter the 1900's ... 2 World Wars, Korea, Vietnam, then a bunch of smaller ones leading up to the War on Poverty, War on Drugs, War on Terror ... none of which we're winning ... more like giving into them. To many people below the poverty line feel entitled, Legalizing Drugs, and what we have to do to board a plane is disgusting.

I enjoy most tech but so many abuse it, but unless we get back to the "stone age" of the 50's or 60's I don't see any way back to giving kids the kind of life my generation had, so I'd be interested in seeing the progression for at least another 4-500 years ... but I think I'd like to come back to the present.

do I get to return to preset day that would make a difference

    for example
    history
    51mX0m97ULL.jpg

    or future
    MV5BZGJhYzI4ZjItOTU4My00YWI3LTg2Y2ItMTc4ZDQ0Yzk1ZDVjXkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyNjUwNzk3NDc@._V1_SY1000_CR0,0,1356,1000_AL_.jpg

it would be great to go back in time but every thing you do could completely change the world as we know it good and bad ( kill of some bad guy any time in history , any one like Hitler , Caligula , Cesar , and countless others for example millions / billions of life's would change ) even saving one life no matter if a world leader or just some fellow / gal in the back woods
or purchase all the land ( we do get to take along a endless supply of gold right :D ) maybe a small parcel like California or Texas ;);)
way too much responsibility on your choices ,
now just going back as a witness or in the future as a witness just to see some event or place would be amazing how they built the pyramids , how that fellow feed every one with a couple fish and a loaf of bread ;)
who was on that grassy knoll .. endless questions do we ever get to explore other universes like star trek ?
but than again if we get to return to present day . think about it ..we could not use any info from the future or the past with out altering it

wife and I married ( June 1979 ) while I was standing next to the preacher waiting on my "about to be wife" to come down the aisle and take her place
the preacher looked at me and whispered . we do have a back door in the church and its just over there,, and its not too late to make a run for it
some days thought like most married people (I will guess ) maybe I should have ran like hell ;);) but I can say after 40 years and counting she has put up with me every day :o:o

some comedian ( maybe Foxworthy ) sad a married man is a like a dog on a chain , when you see a great looking gal come by all you can do is run to the end of your chain and bark :lol::lol:

If I went back even to 1950 I would be just another crippled up old guy. While making some wise stock purchase would be attractive, I much prefer the medical benefits that keep me walking today. I will stay put, thanks for the offer.

Going back for a mammoth hunt or hunt on a whaling ship would be great.

I would probably assassinate Hitler from a grassy knoll.

I would go to the future to find a cancer cure.
Then go back to 2014 and save Dad.
