Of all the little snack foods around this time of year, my favorite is black forest ham, with cream cheese rolled around a pickled asparagus spear....Mmm

no one special treat just for Christmas If I picked one it would be a box of Ester Price candy ( some what local candy shop that makes great chocolate candy ) we seem to buy sporadic thru the year but Christmas is a sure thing , as a kid it was different then anything that was not beans and taters was special

Homemade peanut brittle, light with the nuts, lil smokies wrapped in bacon and coated in brown sugar, orange slices, candy ones that a local store gets in bulk and packages them, great, no bake chocolate peanut butter type cookies,
To drink bottle Ski and Clem's grape soda bottled within 25 miles of me with pure cane sugar.
Entree would be possum tips dipped in real butter and sprinkled with pepper rolled in a bread roll,0 -

Beef Little Smokies. Simmer in half cup beer, half cup A-1, quarter cup CF Sauer's BBQ sauce. Grandkids inhaled 3 pounds of them when they came by yesterday. 0 -
