GB's email not working?
So, I placed a bid and never received an email from Gunbroker confirming it. I checked in My Gunbroker, and yes, it is there. I was outbid, and no email for that either. Checked spam and promotions, nothing there.
Something wiggy with the email system?
Not complaining, just wondering if I'm the only one having an issue.........anyone else?
Thanks
Ed

email notification of auctions ending on the watch list still works. I received one a few hours ago. 0 -
I bought a gun and some reloading stuff last Sunday and never got an email until it was over. 0 -
I just received the bid notification almost 2 hours later.
I was outbid a while ago and still nothing.
Again, not complaining but that's an issue I would think needs looking at!
Bid notification and outbid notices used to be darn near instant.0 -
I just placed a bid on something. I'll see how long it takes for the email notification of my bid to arrive.
By the way, I was going to bid on this item anyway. I'm not spending my money to troubleshoot GB auctions.0 -
It took 21 minutes for the confirmation email to arrive. That is slow. 0 -
O.K. so it's not just me!
The outbid notice is the critical one! That will end up costing sellers money and saving the buyers some......
I think that should be a priority to get that straightened out!0 -
Absolutely!!!!!!! And, a buyer might miss out on something they really want, but I guess if I really wanted something I'd be right there during the last 15 minutes, so I'd know for sure!gearheaddad wrote:O.K. so it's not just me!

I sent GB a email this week that some of my posts had disappeared. I don't post often but like to help if I can. 0 -
Patience!
They locked my account. I promptly sent them an email about it.
2 and 1/2 years later they replied, "they would unlock my account if I would send them some money I did not owe them".
So have a little patience.3 -
It's busted, again.
I got one end-of-auction email, but for the other six or so, I had to go back through the auction pages to contact the buyers.
It happens fairly frequently. I wonder if it has to do with usage volume. I know Sunday evening is a very busy time for Gunbroker.0 -
I had a gun in my watch list and the auction ended and the gun in the watch list disappeared and now don’t know what the gun sold for. What do I need to do to keep the gun in the watch list after the auction ends? 0 -
Once it ends it moves over to the ended auctions. You need to select "ended" under your watched items.Hamlin57 said:I had a gun in my watch list and the auction ended and the gun in the watch list disappeared and now don’t know what the gun sold for. I bought some stuff elsewhere a few days ago. The emails took a long time to show up, one conformation showed up after the shipping notification - so sometimes it can be your email provider. 0 -
Hope they get that fixed, Ed! 0
