    Not sure but looks alot like the pistol grips on the "featureless" compliant models so you are probably right on it being a California thing, or NY, or Maryland.

    Every time Calif passes another moronic anti-gun law, someone figures out a way around it. That's one that fixes the no pistol grip law, which includes thumbhole stocks, so now we have bolt in plugs for those too. It never ends.
