Chinese Suspected of Spying After Breach of Military Base
Took them30 years to finally find Chinese communist spying? Something was/is wrong with this tidbit of information. Just can't put my finger on it.
Was The USA intelligence service that inapt for over 30 years? The politicians here were too busy making money over in China far to long.

The American government secretly expelled two Chinese Embassy officials this fall after they drove on to a sensitive military base in Virginia, according to people with knowledge of the episode. The expulsions appear to be the first of Chinese diplomats suspected of espionage in more than 30 years.
American officials believe at least one of the Chinese officials was an intelligence officer operating under diplomatic cover, said six people with knowledge of the expulsions. The group, which included the officials? wives, evaded military personnel pursuing them and stopped only after fire trucks blocked their path.

Looked at the link. What "Sensitive," Military base in VA. were they allowed to just drive on to?
Sounds ludicrous to me. You can not just drive on to Sensitive Military Bases.
Anyone who has ever been on one, fully knows that.
Guards, ID, reason for being there, etc. etc.0 -
Maybe they were delivering MooGoo Gai Pan and slimp flied lice. 0 -
If you detect a spy...in your government...in your company...in your family should you "terminate" him?
If you do, they will be promptly be replaced with another spy, however, you cannot identify the replacement.
If you let the known spy exist, you can now feed him information. You control the type and importance of the data.
Only if the spy gets out of line should you expose him. Or if the otherside detects your spy and outs him publicly.
Also, if the other side exposes your spy and, for example, threatens to execute him you can use their spy as a bargining chip.
It is all a game that we are not privy to.
So if our govt says they caught a Chinee spy...the Chinee probably caught one of ours first.0 -
and we provide schools for them.....Ft Hays college in Hays kansas put a college in china and now graduates thousands a whack....and now WSU in wichita has an engineering college in Puebla messico.. that ought to put an open border mainline right into middle AMERICA for anything and everything from the failed state.....discount drug, illegals special travel, millions more $$$$ pouring into messico....and raising taxes in KANSAS to support this ......giving our country away 0 -
Very similar to the Saudi's we were providing "Training," to at Pensacola.
These people are not our friends. (Look at 9/11.)
The fact that others were filming it prior to it's execution, speaks volumes. (Knew in advance?) Yeah, I think so.
Ship/extradite those AH, back to their own Country - post haste.
Stop giving Saudi Arabia ANY, "Foreign Aid."0 -

Laughable.
You are not going to drive on to/in to Langley, without multiple Security checks. (I've been there.)
No way Chinese Nationals, are going to drive on to the "Sensitive Sight." Puhleese.........................
Who posted this, Serf? (Yep. Just looked.)
(Also) Last I checked/heard the NSA headquarters, was not/is not a "Military Base."0 -

The Navy/Marine Corps team provides an effective amphibious striking arm in support of the national military strategy. Today nearly 13,000 Sailors, Marines, and civilian employees are assigned to the various stations or attend schools at the Naval Amphibious Base, Little Creek in support of the Navy/Marine Corps team.0 -
I did some HVAC work at Fort Gordon in Augusta Ga.We had to have ID and the trucks searched everyday by armed guards that I have no doubt would shoot you if they had too and big mean dogs that were not your friend. 0 -

Anyone who has ever been on a "High Security Military Base," knows the drill.
You just do not "drive on to it." Multiple layers of Security. ""Why are you here?" Barriers, Dogs, Armed MP's, Dual M-60's set up on each side in a bunker, if you thought you were just going to drive on through. Etc. Etc.
The base I was Stationed at for over 4 years was a "High Security Base." (Probably one of the highest Security Bases anywhere,) I/We went through this every single time we came through the front gate. (One way in, one way out.) You do not just drive on to it. No way, no how. Sorry.
Open bases, a different story.0 -
They drove through the "Wong" base

.
Also how did they evaded military personnel? They're Chinese. We all know they can't drive but I guess they can evaded military personnel like Jackie Chan in "Rush Hour" movies.0 -
our real enemies keep probing and pushing looking for weak spots...while we pretend they are friends and extend them you first courtesies....stoopid 0 -
based on my experience with base security at area Air Force , marine and army bases , this sounds like bs to me. Don?t see how they made it thru the gates let alone got any distance onto the base . . Just doesn?t add up . 0 -

They were stop and told to turn around and the problem probably was they had to enter the base to turn and didn't! That's an error on the Military to have guard shacks on the perimeter with no access to denial vehicles to turn around under their control. Time for them to get better with security.
