I have a dog that drinks like that.
I had to get a "special" bowl for him to drink out of in the house. When he drinks outside from a 5 gal bucket I keep under a down spout he puts his whole face in the water and sometimes his left paw too.
The bowl I got is called a slopper stopper.
He is a Golden Retriever and his name is Charlie but I call him Chippy. He also gets my pillow off the bed and brings it in the room I am in and lays on it. At night he will go outside and get a stick bring it in the house and chew it to pieces, Needless to say he is a Hot Mess but he is a great dog and loves me to death so he gets a pass

A fella I worked for drowned a very valuable purebred Hereford bull calf one morning. He started wailing about killing this calf instead of trying to save it. I picked it up nose down and gave a couple good squeezes to get the fluid out and then laid him down and started blowing in his nose. After 5 or 6 breaths the little fella started sputtering and then started breathing on his own. My boss was dumbfounded and asked how the hell I knew to do that. I told him it just seemed like the right thing to do.
That was almost 40 years ago and I still haven't got the taste of calf snot outta my mouth!0 -
I had a pregnant cow go down with the bloat. The vet came and took a length of garden hose and run it down her throat.
Then he proceeded to suck on the hose as hard as he could. He would stop and spit out some green slime.
As I was wretching beside him, he said nonchalantly, ? It?s only grass.?0 -
