Get you a Fiskars X-27. You?ll throw that heavy maul over the hill.
I pulled in a 22 inch Ash tree this morning. Mr. Troybilt is going to split it for me.

I've got about 8-10 axes/mauls. From small lightweight, to heavy 12lb. Triangular Mauls. All sizes weights and handle lengths. I kinda enjoy it. Keep em' all razor sharp. Hanging up in the outbuilding. They get a file run across them before being brought out, each time. :)

    Good stuff.

Ken, I went to visit my father for his birthday a couple weeks ago. He turned 77. He was not expecting me, as I wanted to surprise him. To make a long story short, Instead of going hunting the next day, pop said he wanted to spend time with me. He drove me to the back end of his property , to show me all the trees down. I insisted we cut them up, roll em up hill and split them. He just wanted to relax. Nope........... we spent the next two days , cutting and splitting 2 cords of oak and maple trees. :D We both enjoyed it, but man did my body pay for it the rest of the week. ;););)

Miss you too. Just keeping myself busy and concentrating on enjoying life a little more. Still talk to Chris Streett and Old Woodshed a lot. Only had two days to hunt this year. Broke my damn knee and was in a cast, most of deer season. Heading out this Sat. for muzzleloader. Take care my friend. I will stop back in from time to time. Your friend, Oak.

Yeah, Chris is a good one.

He knows what has been happening to me these last couple months. We text back and forth.

PM me your contact info, if you would Sir. I will do the same.

I will not abuse the information.
