air fryer
Wife has been talking about getting one of these! I thought maybe a Xmas gift from me? I know nothing about these. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

My Sis loves her's, on like the 3 rd one in 30 years. When my brother went to take care of her during recovery from surgery, he bought one when he got home. They have the fancy unit from the TV food channel. Myself I'd rather cook in cast iron or stainless. 0 -
I bought one, works on some things ok, I used it at first, but am getting away from it, kind of a gimmick and agree the old methods of cooking will probably prevail. 0 -
All I will say, is avoid the Ninja/foodi (Shark) brand like the plague. A bunch of total Scam Artists. Worst Co. EVER.

I'm very tempted to get the Emeril Air Fryer. I have his pressure cooker and it's excellent. His recipes are awsome too! 0 -

If you get one get an oven not one of those with a basket. They cook without oil for fried chicken or anything else. Had one for a yr and use it every day for something. Frozen hot dogs.. 7 min. Frozen sausage large.. 10 min. Frozen Deer sausage patties.. 7 min. Chicken leg quarters
unfrozen.. 15 min side.. Chicken is not greasy but skin is crispy . Pork chops 7 min side. Basket holds french fries and basket rotates.. frozen large ones.. 15 min. Frozen Okra that is battered pre bought.. 15 min. No oil needed and each is crispy . Lowes sells an air oven in a full size stove.. next on the agenda..it is like 1000 bucks on sale.. when they get popular price will come down. The portable air fryer ovens.. 69 bucks on sale .0 -

my wife bought one several + months ago . she loves it .
she has convinced some of her co-workers to get one also they all enjoy theirs also
I have used it a few times seems to do what it suppose to do , cooks fast , and great to warm up leftovers and even pizza turns out well
no complaints and I think its a ninji0 -

I rather have a commercial fry-o-later. The second kitchen thing i'd buy after winning the lotto. The first a Icee machine so I can have a slushy rum and cola on tap. 0 -
We have a Power XL air fryer and the wife loves it. Ours has the basket and you can use oil. You just coat the food with oil prior to cooking. Excellent fried chicken, french fries, sweet potatoes whole, ect..... It cooks faster than the conventional oven and uses less electricity. 0 -
