Amazon Lockers = Secure Delivery
Thought I'd give Amazon Lockers a try. Haven't ordered much in the last 3 years, mostly because of Delivery to my front door where anyone could molest / steal my stuff. Have a postal box but Amazon Locker is closer. Size limit, haven't checked but a mattress wouldn't fit. 
Amazon has dozens? of these free lockers in Houston,, free for amazon delivery only. One was maybe a quarter mile from my house. They have lockers @ Whole Foods Stores (they own them) and motel / hotels open 24 hours a day. They send you a locker number and code to open the locker. Amazon also accepts returns at the lockers.
Hope it works as advertised. I'll find out between now and Christmas.

I have used it once. I had it sent to a locker at WF. The issues with WF you have to there when they are open. Also I think you only got like 24 hrs to pick up item after notification. 0 -
First I heard of Amazon lockers .....so apparently none around these parts.
