Hey asop....
Not to hijack another thread, I thought that I might give you a little insight to your maple stocked 541t. Lew Horton had a limited run of 250 541t's made with curly maple stocks. The special run guns were checkered, but Remington also made a few extra stocks that were not checkerd. The Lew Horton guns are highly sought after from collectors, as are the factory uncheckered Remington stocks. People like to buy the Remington stocks and put them on 541's and then auction them off to people who don't know the difference. I watch the 541 market since they are my favorite b/a 22. I have seen the factory maple one's sell between 1600 for a used one, to almost $2400 for a nib model... You have a keeper..

Hey Toad-Much appreciated. That's my stock
I also bought 3-5 round and 1- 10 round mag. at the same time. Heard they were rather had to find at the time. I topped this off with a Lupold VX III 6.5-20X40. Thanks0
