I guess im doing as good as expected. My Mom has lung cancer but she is in remission. I went with her to the doctor Friday and she weighed 91.8 pounds dressed with a big coat on.
Talking to the doctor he told my sister and i just to spend as much time with her as we can and make her as happy as we can and that is all we can do.
We can not get her to eat or drink enough to maintain her weight. She is losing about 1 pound every 2 weeks. We are giving her Ensure and trying to get her to eat or drink as much as we can and she just will not eat or drink.
The hurt is about all i can stand i dont feel like getting on the internet or doing anything else. I visit Mom and think about Mom and i do not feel like doing anything else.
You would think stage 4 cancer with 5 or 6 surgeries with chemo/radiation would be about the hardest thing you would ever go through but it is not even close to this.
