    There used to be a place in Johnson City, TN. (May still be there for all I know.) Dark, barn like atmosphere. Called the "Down Home Pickin' Parlor." (1976-1984)

    Saw some really good classic artists there. (Doc Watson, etc.) Maybe 10' from the stage, if that.

    Good stuff. (At 15-16) I was the "Designated Driver," first few years I was there. ;)

    That sounds like a fun adventure.

    Me my Dad went to a BBQ joint in South Ga. We opened the door and there were no white people in the place. I was maybe 17 and my Dad says; "Do ya'll Serve white people?" The lady running the place answers; "as long as ya'll gots money" Everyone starts cracking up............

    If I remember it was awesome BBQ.
