    there day in the sun and huge following has long gone
    for me it was when Dale Earnhardt made his last turn . it seems not only he died that day but NASCAR as well . it was already going down hill . after that season they seemed to drop like a rock

    myself and many people and family I know were huge fans of the races but I do not know of one them or me that even watch any more


    my 2 cents it became nothing more than the sponsors wanting more air time so lets slow down the cars toss in countless rules and make sure our names gets every minute on camera . not to mention huge teams ($$$$$ ) supposedly not helping each other on the track to win ;)
    drive in circles for two - three hours in a parade :? :?
