I saw this in my Barber?s shop, he didn?t know what it was either.
It?s side pieces are 14? long 2X4?s The aluminum rods that connect the two sideS are fixed, they don?t slide on the aluminum rods, which aren?t dented but do have some pitting ... I?ll attempt to provide any further info requested.

That makes sense. Possibly for making baskets? 0 -
Baskets, chair bottoms, chair backs, tobacco baskets, etc. Basically anything that uses thin curved strips of wood. 0 -
