Headed to Houston next weekend.....

Its been a long time since I've been to Texas.....not that any time I've been I've gotten to spend any time doing anything. Usually, its just a drive there....come back ordeal. One of these days I'm going to plan to have some fun on one of these trips of mine.

    Hey......auctions auctions auctions and ......auctions. My spelling ability is nonexistent after loading the last of the pictures on a huge run. Now it?s time to call it a day. My big plans for this weekend are seeing a movie with my brother and sitting on my rump.

    That is a long drive its got to be over 600 miles.

    If you stay overnight Lake Charles is not too bad and they have a casino there on the Lake. Its been a few years but the last time I was there the food was good.

    We got a couple rooms at a Holiday Inn Express nearby to the guy we are going to see Saturday morning. We've had pretty good luck with them and haven't had any surprises (so far). The last time I stayed in Springfield Missouri I had the desk clerk come up and smell my room......someone nearby was smoking pot and I didn't want them to accuse me of it and try to charge me for "smoking in my room" or some such. Other than that one thing its been pretty uneventful on my trips to pick up collections. Thank goodness!!!
