Do you think this seller is trying to play a little game?
Looking for a Remington 541 and was checking out this auction. The auction description mentions nothing about a box or papers with the gun. However, there is a Remington box in the background. When you look at his other auctions, all of his Remington's have the same box in the background. Sneaky little devil....

I would say so.
BTW Toad the Remington 581 is the same gun but not as fancy. They are cheaper and shoot just as good.0 -

I believe it is famous for being exactly the middle between the Equator and the North Pole.0 -
That could be a box of dead roses. 0 -
Why not ask him. :?: 0 -
Same box in each picture.
Same curtain in each picture.
Same wall in each picture.
Same table in each picture.
Same rifle cradle in each picture.
"Curiouser and curiouser!" Cried Alice.
It may be simply background.0 -

Background drop, Remington green to show rifle and not vanish in camo, my 2 cents. 0 -
The same as stated the 581 is a tack driver. I have a 580 that is perfect for target shooting. If your not looking for a pretty rifle i have a 580 listed on auction side. 0 -

Same box, not a Remington. Maybe he shouldn't have it in the background but you're reading too much into it.0 -
