Port Neches refinery explosion

Just got a call from an uncle that my cousins and their families in Port Neches are all okay. Some of the homes were about 1/2 mile from the plant where the explosion occurred.

  Glad they are safe, James! I think the fires have been burning for about 6 days now and they still haven't been able to extinguish them.

  Thanks Bill. I was pretty sure they were okay, but was glad to get the news. They spent their evacuation time in Lumberton. Homes were damaged, but I don't know to what extent.
  
  Hope you and Pam had a good a thanksgiving and are doing well.
