Went to a wedding in New Orleans 4 or 5 years ago. Went down with neighbors and the wife was from that area! She took us to a place outside the city limits somewhere to drink and dance. Big plane old building, small non fancy bar with folding chairs lining the perimeter of the "dance floor". Well around 10:00 you couldn't get in the place. Great time, I'll need forget it. I believe it was called "Zigo" music? 0 -

Ages ago, I had some soldiers from around Lake Charles, and they took me out with them one Saturday night. Those folks love eating, drinking and music.0 -
I love Zydeco and Cajun music in general.
Good stuff.0 -
I believe that's it! I stand corrected. The ages ran from young teens and grandparents all gathered at this place just to dance. Fun time. 0 -
Just dawned on me
The place was called "Tipitian's" I believe.0 -
