    Happy Thanksgiving back at you and yours.

    I will be spending the day at the hospital in the pediatric oncology ward with the kids - we are baking turkey and pumpkin shaped cookies (on tray #9 now) to dispense...

    We traveled up to Denver last week and had snow and ice much of the way. at the top of the Raton Pass we got behind a snow plow and followed it all the way down. Then it took 2.5 hours to go the nearly 40 miles from C. Springs to Castlerock. Construction and restricted lanes and a multi car wreck had traffic stopped. We were feeling pretty sorry for out selves until we came up to the last wreck car being hauled off, and thought of the others along the side of the road and two wrapped around trees we had passed along the way. When we stopped to clean the ice off the wipers, one came apart in my hand. We were happy to stop for the night, change the hotel reservation and get one in Castlerock. It can almost always be worse than you have it. Best wishes to all for a great and safe holiday season. And don't overeat too badly tomorrow. :lol:
