would have allmost bet on it...........

hunted monday and tuesday dawn till dark, wednsday the forcast was for rain and up to 60 mile hour winds, so with my hip hurting decided to stay in the cabin, pulled my camera cards friday and just looked at em yesterday, on wednsday morning had a nice 8 point come in at 8 again at 8:30 and again at 9:00. guess he was laughing at me, oh well there is still muzzloading in a few weeks, 3 days of hunting is about all my hip will stand, then had to take few days off.....

    If you are hunting whitetail, maybe you need a stand. If mulies, never mind and good luck! :)

    got a tree stand, but roof leaks, and with the rain and with the high winds expected didn't want to take chance falling and/or sitting in stand all morning getting wet. have to walk halfway, down pretty steep hill to stand, then hobble back up in the evening, though did yell for my son on radio tuesday to come get me in the side by side so didn't have to walk out. never figured they would be up and moving, kinds figured they would lay tight till storm blew threw in the afternoon/evening......

    the cameras are nice but also aggravating

    at least we get to see they(deer) are still around

    Always sleep in when winds were blowing that much. Deer and or turkey, they just don't move due to the winds diminishing their senses :cry:

    Did you do the daylight savings bit on the trail cam? Be funny if you missed him by an hour.
