So I see several potential problems but let's address the big one...
British law says to deactivate a revolver you must block the barrel...
It's often done with lead...
This can be reversed and the bbl can be swapped out rendering it an operable firearm...
US batfe rules require torch cut frame - which is rather a bit harder to reverse and takes more than a cheap mail order part bought on ebarf...
How exactly was this gun rendered non operable and turned into a non gun or paperweight...
He clearly states the action functions and can be loaded - the frame is not cut...

Firing pin cut or delete does not comply with US law and the seller is close to committing a federal crime - and dragging the buyer down with him...
Please note this is not a critical knock on the auction side or the forum - the seller should know better or is a crook - no excuse.

I was reading the description where they sent a new gun in to give it a worn patina. Or, you know, they could have just bought a more well used gun to start with.

1. I agree that does not meet the US definition of having been rendered permanently inoperable. The receiver torch cut into 3 or more sections (not bandsawed) or the whole thing melted.
2. For 5 large, I would expect it to be delivered in person by Harrison. And throw in the whip and the scimitar.0 -
Now let's talk intellectual property rights...

If you got 5 million to spend on that you probably got enough money to get around anything else or pay the attorneys to take care of it
