    It's a Philadelphia WMMR 93.3 FM Thanksgiving tradition with one of the greatest radio DJ's of all time Pierre Robert and his dog Lucy...

    Freshman year of highschool I caught the bug and was hooked.

    I knew Arlo back in the 60's. He always sang it, 'You can get anything you want, including Alice, at Alice's restaurant.' Now there is a happy Thanksgiving.

    For some odd reason after my annual listen to Arlo I had the desire to play meatloafs bat out of hell and some Ziggy stardust - followed by low spark of high heeled boys and some blue oyster cult...

    Bit of an odd mix but it seemed apropos for who knows why...

    No carn evil 22 minute drum solo please.

    Every year on Thanksgiving. Listened to it yesterday before lunch. Never knew of it being a tradition until an old hippie I roomed with in college introduced me to it. Have kept the tradition since and now my wife expects it too.
