So tried of all the Medicare ads on TV
24/7 and I wonder how much they can write off for advertising and the FCC use to limit commercials but it just proves that money talks and the FFC doesn't care. Nothing is free like the Medicare commercials say

Just like political ads, the media LOVES them as it puts big $$$ in their bank accounts.

You must live in a non free area. Medicare will go up a tad but SS will do this.. Wondering if the well goes drier faster

I agree
What about the Drug commercials?
What do the drug company's think you are going to do; go up to you Dr and say "Hey DOC what about lituda?" or I need xtraXXX for my skin condition...........
Waste of money IMO.0 -
When I was approaching 65 my answering machine was full of supplement offers everyday for months. 0 -

Then there are all the lawyer ads to sue the drug companies. That's the nice thing about taping all the TV shows so I can fast forward through all the ads. Cuts out at least 15 minutes of every hour. I no longer watch anything live.0 -
These ads are not from CMS (Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services) --- commonly known as Medicare. They are from the usual suspects who have been selling Medicare supplemental insurance, also known as "Medigap" insurance. They pay for their ads, no one gets them aired for free.
Most folks do need a Medigap policy, but they cover only a small part of your needs. The people who answer phones at Medicare & Social Security will be glad to give you advice that will help you understand this complex subject.
