    chain up and use 4 wheel drive. Only use your marker lights,no headlights in that kinda storm. Tell someone where you're going and when to expect you back. Take one walkie talkie with you. Drive with your flashers on to alert other drivers to the severe condition. Do not carry a gun that is oiled,the parts will freeze the gun solid.

    Park in the fire lane,you already have your flashers on,and you'll only be a minute.
    Be sure to turn your socks up to high heat setting.

    Heed the California liberal mandated warning label on all metal poles - do not stick your tongue to this pole as it may stick there - frozen.

    And remember the more alcohol in your blood stream the less likely it is to freeze solid.

    Avoid witch's teats and brass balls.

    What's it doin' in Montana? Get any white stuff?
    Our skiff melted off by 9 but about 5 it started in again. Just shoveled about 1.5" off the driveway.

    been really mild. 40's day,,mid 20's night. Heavy frost about every other morning.
    Now clouding up,days forecast mid 20's with nights in teens to single numbers. Suppose to rain/snow starting Wednesday.
