anybody serve in Germany 64-67?

one of my friends' dad passed away. reading the obit about his service in Germany 64-67 (which we all know about, but now it says when and where and what he was doing) crew chief on a OV-1 Mohawk at the Hanau Army Air Field in Langendiebach. would like to hear from somebody that knew him.
