Whats with these "new" heated vests?

They are all over the internet! Sm. 5 v. battery and states its good for 15 hours. Had may wife sew small pockets in my vest to put hand warmers in. Works really well! Anyone know anything about these?

  I've never owned one/ I did see some Carhartt brand vests in a local farm store back a few years ago. They were pricey. I looked them over but as I don't work outside for a living anymore I didn't buy one. Interesting idea. I remember the fuel stick warmers, been years since I seen one though.

  To hot around here for a heated vest. I would be interested in an air-conditioned vest though. I guess having to pull the compressor around in a wagon wouldn't help sales.

  SIL bought my daughter a very nice heated coat. The pockets heat and/or the entire coat. She loves it!!!!

  I bought a camo Milwaukee battery heated coat from the local electrical supply house. It uses the same batteries as the 12V Milwaukee cordless tools. Has 3 settings, I think 5 hrs. on high hrs. 8 on med and 11 on low. I use it exclusively for deer hunting. It's actually a pretty good coat. Using the same batteries as your tools was a good idea.

  My buddy has battery heated vest, gloves, socks, jacket, etc.
  He swears by them for cold weather deer hunting.
  I have a couple small rechargeable battery operated hand warmers that double as auxiliary battery back up for my cell phone.
  Works great!

  We sell Mobile War warming brand stuff. Seems to work well. I bought a pair of socks that I haven?t used yet.

  Make sure you ask for the "Heat Pump" vest.

  My Nephew works in HVAC in Northern Michigan and swears by Milwaukee heated clothing. Has the coat and gloves with spare batteries.
