If you keep posting those dog pictures with the sayings that bring tears to my eyes, I am going to buy you 10 new puppies.... ;)

Really love them, but they're just tough right now, only being a month since I put my last one down..

Keep 'em coming. Love to see them!!

I know there's many dog lovers, like me, on this forum. I think that dogs are nothing less than "angels" on earth. Their unconditional love and devotion is unparalleled. I lost my little Tazz last year at the age of 13 and part of me died with him. Out of all the pets we have in our lifetime, I think there's always one that was very special in our lives, such as my beloved Tazz.

Anytime I see a verse written about dogs, I usually post it on this forum in remembrance of my Tazz.

I feel for both of you, on your loss of a "Special" dog.

I feel my dog (Buddy) and I were brought together, by fate. He is my "once in a lifetime," dog.

I stumbled across him in the Boone, NC rescue. He had only been there a few days. (Found roaming with no ID.) There was a person ahead of me to adopt him. The shelter folks were pulling for me however. They knew I had just recently lost (had to put down) my prior rescue, had a history of dog ownership, was capable of handling the breed, owned my own house in the country with 3 acres. Etc. etc.

The person ahead of me was a female college student living in an apartment, with no history of personal dog ownership. The rescue folks were afraid he would be back, in fairly short order. I went over there about 4 times, to spend time with him, being hopeful.

The day the adoption was to take place, I went over there about an hour before they closed. The other party had been a no show/no call. They let me take my Buddy home. We were both blessed on that day.

I say that to him, quite often.

I don't know what I will do when he is gone. He is only apprx. 3 years old, so hopefully we will both be blessed with many more years. (The rescue Vet estimated he was "9mo.old" when I adopted him.

He has so much personality it is ridiculous. A total character.

I copied your missive to my Gallery. (As I have quite a few others, when posted.) Thank you.
