Back in Texas when "vanity plates" first came out a guy named "Ditburner" decided that "DITTY" would be a neat plate.

He headed for Las Vegas on time. He liked to drive his big car over the speed limit and didn't think much about it until he got pulled over by a Nevada State Patrolman.

Patrolman said to him, " I sure am glad I caught you. I would have really sounded stupid telling them to watch for a car with a 'DITTY" plate"

These day's it would be pretty tame

Years ago, Limbaugh had a story about a gal in California, her custom plate [now don't kick me off the forum this is a true story] was APU**Y. Seems like an accurate plate, to me.

I used asterisks but the California gal spelled it right out. And a cop gave her a ticket and the state demanded she turn in the plate and she refused to turn it in. LImbaugh had a big laugh about it. I don't recall whatever became of the case.

Was watching a TV show a long time ago where they had people send in pictures of funny signs. Best one I remember was "planned parenthood use rear entrance"....

I know a feminist type (probably only interested in her own kind) with the plate: IH8DIX
On FB the other day, I saw a MO plate that said: 8DX 247

Somewhere I have a collection of those types of plates but can't find them at the moment. I am on a few really f-d up FB forums that all post some crude, but hilarious stuff. Stuff that gets people in FB jail constantly.:lol::lol:

I parked beside a van at a Laughlin, NV motel. The license plate read, "FSHNKD".
As I loaded my vehicle she was loading hers. Holding the door for her, I could not resist asking.

"Fish Naked", she said, If you don't catch anything you should at least get a nice tan."

    $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Following a car through a large Anchorage parking lot, I noticed the license plate, SNOBDR".
We parked several spaces apart but arrived at the door of the business about the same time.
I asked if "SNOB DR" was possibly a plastic surgeon to the rich folks....

Apparently I was not the first to make that mistake.
Through gritted teeth the young fella growled, "SNOW BOARDER, SNOW BOARDER! You get 6 letters and no damned space!".

Here in SC front tags are not required,so people make up their own. There was a gal in town that front tag read,You cant be first, but you can be next.

If you care to search YouTube you will find a good ol boy from the state of Florida whose custom plate says IEATASS and he has been arrested several times by a local LEO with young kids...

    His saga is documented.

I would think that if the state issued it there could be no crime.

    Only in Florida.
