I have a large pair, about a foot long, that come in real handy at times. They have been used on some tough stuff. They?re still fairly sharp, but I?d like to touch them up before they get really dull.
I would take a hard stone and work the original angle lengthwise. If I could come up with a jig of sorts, it would keep the stone flat against the original angle.
    Please don?t run with scissors.

    This how I do it:

Don't cut tin foil to sharpen them because it wears them out.

If they are of good quality I would have them professionally done. If you Google medical scissor sharpening you should be able to find someone.
