They say it never happens here

You've all heard people say, Shoot nothing ever happens in this little town , why do you need to carry a firearm or CCW?
well it happened just down the road from me this week

Leon is a village of maybe 100 folks (if that ) with US Hwy 27 going right thru the center of town , it's maybe 5 miles south of the County seat of Sparta where the Sheriffs department is

story goes the dead guy was beating the crap out of his girl friend, she some how got away from him, grab her child and run over to the near by bar looking for help , the cops took care of the rest

I looked at me wife last night after the story was on the news and said See this is why I always carry and why I keep telling you to keep your eyes open ,cause you never know when some thing like this will happen
