    had the VA remove a few on my back month or so ago, they were on my shoulderblade, they now are all healed but look like bullet holes, I tell the grandkids , gramma shot me...........

    I am almost like a Dalmatian myself. My daughter once called them chocolate chips, an AWWWWwwww! moment if ever there was one.

    A few years ago, a brand new one appeared. Melanoma - the six months and you're dead kind. They went after that one with a front end loader and I've been free for over two years now. Interesting scar. Except that I've never seen it because it's on the back of my neck.

    My wife had two melanoma's growing on the side of her head close to an ear. She had to go to a big University Hospital for removal. Procedures were as described above, with very little flesh so close to her skull took things right down to the bone.

    They got it all then stretched the skin over the surgical areas and stitched it tight. Kind of a one sided face lift. She has been cancer free now going on 12 years! Praise The Lord
