Mexico is off the rails MORE killings
There is no way I would travel to or in Mexico today. When I was younger me and some friends traveled all around Mexico and had a blast but today it is literally a war zone, its probably safer to travel in Iraq.

At least three American mothers and six children from a Mormon community based in northern Mexico have been massacred in an attack blamed on drug cartel gunmen.
The victims, who belonged to the LeBaron family, were ambushed about eight miles apart in the Mexican border state of Sonora on Monday.
At the time of the attack, 17 of the family members were traveling in three cars from La Mora - a breakaway settlement founded decades ago in northern Mexico as part an offshoot of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
There are reports some of the family members, who were dual U.S.-Mexico citizens, were heading to celebrate a wedding anniversary.
Several family members have since described horrific scenes, including how gunmen opened fire on one child running away and others burning to death inside a car that was torched.
Other young children managed to escape and hide by the roadside while one of the mothers was shot in the chest as she put her hands up to surrender. Relatives fear some of the victims may have been raped.
One family member has described how a boy managed to hide his wounded siblings - some less than a year old - in bushes before he ran back to the nearby town to get help after his mother was gunned down.
The motive for the attack is not yet clear, although it is possible it was an attempted kidnapping. A family member reported receiving a phone call hearing screams before they were executed.
The religious group has had previous run-ins with organized crime cartel in the area, including one member being killed. One family member, however, believes the recent attack was a case of mistaken identity.

Did you see the cartel has M2 50 cal Heavy machine guns!
I'd wager they don't have any A-10's or cluster bombs. Sounds like it's time to start using more aggressive tactics.0 -
The real question is how long will it be before it is that bad here? We are already well into the Mexification of Kalifornia. We need to remember how Mexico lost all their northern territory in the first place. They are well on their way to taking it all back. 0 -
The Vice Channel did an interview back in 2012 with the family that was hit in the recent attack. Pretty interesting watch:

2 Hit men killed the cop who initially arrested El Chapo's son and started a war in Sinaloa. They fire 155 rounds at the guy from 2-3 rifles at about 3 feet away.

The Mexican police officer involved in the arrest of the son of reputed drug lord Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman has been assassinated in a parking lot.
Closed circuit television cameras captured the horrifying moment on Wednesday morning when at least two armed men with semiautomatic rifles climbed out of a red car and opened fire at a white Nissan four-door sedan.
The ambush took less than 30 seconds as the gunmen fired at least 150 bullets into the white vehicle.
The red car had followed the white car into the parking lot of a shopping center in Culiac?n, the capital of Sinaloa state, Infobae.com reported.
The authorities identified the dead officer as Eduardo 'N,' 32
Mexican security forces had Guzman Lopez outside a house on his knees against a wall before they were forced to back off and let him go as his cartel's gunmen shot up the Culiacan.
Defense Secretary Luis Cresencio Sandoval last week showed video and presented a timeline of the failed operation to arrest Guzm?n L?pez - an incident that embarrassed the administration of President Andr?s Manuel L?pez Obrador.
The video shot by soldiers shows Guzm?n exit the house with his hands up.
Soldiers order him to call off the attacks around the city as gunfire is heard in the background.
Guzm?n called his brother Archivaldo Iv?n Guzm?n Salazar on his cellphone and told him to stop the chaos.
Man that is crazy, I am not sure what needs to be done but they better do something quick. I think Vigilante Death Squads would be a start, maybe some star chamber action but these guys are animals.
Crazy? It's an everyday thing down there for quite some time. You hear what they did to another police officer and his 14 year old son about 2 years ago? Pretty much gutted his son like fish then cut his heart out while he was still alive and his dad watching until they beheaded him. They are animals that make the muzzies look like choir boys0 -

that's why we have seperation of powers in our government.SCOUT5 wrote:... order is only archived when the orderly have to power to make it so. But power corrupts and the circle really never ends.
I think one could logically conclude that dictatorships and oligarchies are much more susceptible to corruption for that reason. or in this case, susceptible to coercion.
I'd say they have a crisis. I don't know why we would help them with this unless it suits our interests, because, after we're done and gone things will go right back to where they are now.0 -
Remember the drug cartels get their money from DRUG USERS in the United States and have been funding the cartels for 40+ years. Believe it way to far gone in Mexico for one simple solution to remedy the problem, it's only going to get worse as long as the U.S. pays Billions to Mexico cartels for drugs. 0 -
yep. 100%. 0 -
You guys are all wrong. Drugs are a victimless crime. Everybody involved with drugs sing happy songs, aren?t violent at all, and not one person even gets a hang nail. 0 -

This ^^^^ as every person in the US that uses illegal drugs provides funds to the cartels.0 -

Actually, the government funds the cartels drug trafficking as well as weapons trafficking. You see they can reap the benefits from both sides. As long as they can keep the scary "war on drugs" alive and well they can justify more laws, prisons, fines and increased law enforcement budgets. Legalize the drugs and the cartels go away along with all the government funding.
The Clinton's, Wells Fargo, FedEx and who knows how many other big companies have been caught shipping drugs and drug money in and out of the country. But it's the poor little crackhead on the corner creating this problem? Pffft. It's well known that the CIA introduced crack into the black inner cities in order to manipulate the black communities. Kinda like Planned Parenthood.0 -
