I bet he could get a good deal on Texas Motor Speedway today also. I was clicking through TV channels yesterday and saw the cup race taking place there. I've seen more people attend qualifying in the old days than there were at the race yesterday. 0 -
NASCAR doesn't care if folks show up or not. They own most all of the tracks and spent Billions to do so. Sponsorship, TV time is what pays. Penske I believe owns the Michigan 500 Track also. 0 -
If they didn't care they wouldn't be demolishing stands to make it look like more people were there and they wouldn't be spending a lot of time trying to get camera shots to hide the empty stands. 0 -
The drivers make a lot of their money off of selling themselves.. souvenier's, commercials, ... The Sport will live and live on well even though some on this forum thinks it is going to die. Cripe it is rich mans sport that few can get into. 0 -
It'll be like polo and nobody will care except for the rich in that case. 0 -
Only the rich can participate in driving. 0 -
BTW.. NASCAR isn't the only ones to run on the Indy 500 track. The closed the Indiana State Fairground dirt track. Maybe Penske or Tony Stewart will open one up in Indianapolis 0 -
I saw that SPOS Tony Stewart on TV yesterday saying he would whoop Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano at the same time. The only way fat boy could hurt somebody is to run over them. 0 -
