Confirmed "Sleep Apnea."
Finally got the call from my "Sleep Study," Center from Oct. 10th. (Have been wondering WTH?)
"You have a bad case of Sleep Apnea." ("Pretty bad.") Ya Think?
Mitral Valve problem, (leaves you O2 starved.) A badly deviated septum, no nose flow. (mouth breather.) A-fib issues, Sleep Apnea, etc. a bad combination.
Scheduled for my follow up on Wed. 6th, in order to determine what CPAP/BPAP, and what setting is appropriate.
I am looking forward to getting this done, and getting some relief. I missed 3 days (Tues, Wed, Thurs.) Last week, due to only getting 2-3 hours sleep, each night. Exhausted.
Went to bed at 6:30pm last night. Woke up at 10:30pm. Done for the night. Got up at 4 am to go to work. Miserable.

First couple hours were absolutely miserable. (15-20 wires to your head, neck, chest etc . etc.) are not conducive to good sleep. Took forever to fall asleep.
After they got my mask, dialed in - (took several hours.) I was good to go. Finally felt like, I was not suffocating. Getting enough O2.
Stats, based upon my first test, were not good. (Very bad.) "Stopped breathing 39 times/hour." O2 levels plummeted." Etc. Etc.
I am looking forward to proceeding/going forward.
Once they got it dialed in, I slept good.0 -
Mrs Fun has the philips respironics dreamstation. It Autotitrates and is SOOOOO much quieter than the old unit. It has some sort of cellular modem in it that sends the data to her pulmonologist and they can alter the settings with out her having to make an office visit. Amazing technology, (and made right here in Kennesaw!) 0 -

People who have never experienced what we/I am going through, have No Clue. I hope you do not, in the future.

I know two people that had to go back for this, my wife had everything done in one night and only had to make a appointment at a medical supply office to get the c-pap and shown how to use it.0
